Siblings Peggy and Rob Penland have helped preserve a piece of the family legacy. Peggy owns the Inn at Houndslake, while her brother's responsibilities include managing the front desk and daily operations. As a result, it is not unusual to be met and welcomed by these traditional boutique Inn owners.

The Inn has the unique distinction of being nestled between the fairways of Houndslake Country Club. As a result, the view from each room is picturesque, which compliments the beauty of the tranquil location, without the distraction of busy parking lots or main roads.
The Inn is considered a relaxed and comfortable destination by new and returning visitors. The décor is traditional with the simplicity and feeling of a home away from home. You will never experience that corporate feeling. With just 30 rooms, each guest can enjoy the Inn's privacy or social aspects at breakfast. The Inn's patio opens onto the golf course and endless walking paths, swimming pool, tennis, and pickleball courts.
