The 9th annual Atlanta Spring Challenge Horse Show is just under a week away. The highly anticipated show takes place at the renowned Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia with J.P. Godard and Equus Events, Inc handling the duties. The show holds a USEF AA hunter rating and is a Jumper 4. It is sanctioned by USEF, USHJA, SCHJA, GHJA, NCHJA, NAL, and WIHS.
This year's event looks to be the biggest to date and Godard is very grateful. “Many shows have seen a decline over the past few years as the economy has hit us all so very hard. We are pleased to announce that the prize list for the 2012 Tryon Summer Classic Horse Show to benefit the Tryon Hounds is now available on our web site and is in the mail. Stabling is limited at this show so make sure to get your reservations in early as stalls have already started to fill up.

Equus Events today announced that exhibitors can now electronically submit their entries to its horse shows through Equestrian Connect (www.equestrianconnect.com) Equus Events is the first show company in zone 4 to accept entries electronically in this way. The upcoming Atlanta Spring Challenge Horse Show held May 16 – 20 at the Georgia International Horse Park will be the first event to offer its exhibitors this convenience...More

We are pleased to announce that 2012 Atlanta Spring Challenge (May 16-20) prize list is now available on our Shows page. This year’s feature events include a $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby and Derby Party Friday, May 18th and the $25,000 Atlanta Spring Challenge Grand Prix and annual Preakness Party to celebrate the running of the 137th Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May19th. This annual party is sponsored by DFG Stables and Daniel and Cathy Geitner. Both of these feature events will take place in the coveted International Arena which once hosted some of the world’s greatest equestrians and their horses during the 1996 Olympic Games. We have just wrapped up our first annual Camden Winter Classic horse show February 24-26 at the beautiful South Carolina Equine Park in Camden, SC. Let me be the first to say it was great to be back! Just a reminder that entries close for the Camden Winter Classic (February 24-26) next week! Thanks to everyone for getting entries and stall counts in so timely, it looks like it will be a great week! We have also added pony jumpers to the schedule on Saturday and Sunday. They will run before the low children's/adult jumpers Saturday morning and after the low children's/adults on Sunday. Also please note that the Children's and Adult Jumper Classics will count for NAL/WIHS points...More |
